About

Ebenezer Charitable Trust (ECT) was founded under the leadership of Pastor P. J. Thomas, who faithfully ministered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, for over 30 years after his service in the Indian Air Force. Alongside the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (Northern Region), he dedicated his life to reaching the villages of Central India with the Gospel. He was blessed with his wife, Annamma Thomas, three children—Annie, Johnson, and Benjamin—and four grandchildren—Susan, Joanna, Kesia, and Joel. Pastor Thomas went to be with the Lord in June 2022, leaving behind a strong spiritual legacy.
Following his vision, Pastor Johnson P. Thomas, the founding Secretary of ECT, now serves as the President. With over 24 years of professional experience and more than 12 years of ministry among the international community, Pastor Johnson continues to lead ECT with commitment and faith. He is supported by his wife, Mrs. Elma Johnson, the founding Treasurer, who actively assists in both ministry and administration. She now serves as the Secretary of ECT.
The leadership team is further strengthened by Mr. Joel P. Johnson, who has recently joined as a member and serves as the Treasurer, bringing a new generation of dedication to the mission of ECT.

Our Activities
Ebenezer Charitable Trust is dedicated to uplifting the poor and marginalized by promoting education, healthcare, and social welfare. We support students through scholarships and hostels, care for the elderly, widows, and differently-abled, and run livelihood programs like tailoring and vocational training. We also establish schools, medical camps, and community centers, while partnering with government and international organizations for development projects. In times of disaster or crisis, we provide relief and rehabilitation, and we continue to spread hope through evangelism, church planting, and community outreach.
